Well, it's been 5 years since we had a puppy around the place. Sybil was the perfect puppy, obedient, quiet, compliant, easy to get along with. Therefore, it must be time to cause a disturbance in the force (sorry, couldn't help the 'Star Wars' reference).
Shelly and I are flying to Texas at the end of January to pick up the little monster. She offered to take her home with her and bring her back up on her normal summer visit.
We may wish we had taken her up on the offer at some point. However, the little girl is already enrolled in Puppy Kindergarten at Oregon Dog Sports, so unless Shelly wanted to fly up every Wednesday starting the first week in February, looks like she will get her formal introduction to a rather wet and wild Pacific Northwest winter.
