Dog Tired

It's tough being a dog.  You get so dang tired that you just can't even pick your head up to chew your chewie.

Sybil, recovering from her spay, plays the pity me card to the max

Young at Heart

Shae, an older Morgan River kid, spending some playtime with Rowyn today. Shae is 14 1/2 years old now. Rowyn has appointed himself Shae's personal trainer. You can hear him (ahem) barking out his encouragement. You might want to turn the volume down before pressing play. I love how he flops down and says "you got me!"

(apologies, I posted the video without unlocking it. I think I've fixed that.)

Frosty Mugs

Prepare yourself for a blizzard of chilling, thrilling dog snow shots!

Nothing like a good, deep snow to make even the old man act like a puppy on speed.

Click the first pix to start the slideshow and try to see it on a big monitor to enjoy it the most!

Morning packwalk.  Not a lot of snow - yet
Cricket's snow face - how cute is she!!

No matter what, Gem the BC always faces forward on the leash, while Hoke always turns around to see what is going on

 Hoke's frosty mug
I love the illusion of speed in this shot of the Iditarod sled dog team in training
Gem the BC shows off her ice whiskers on her chin

 Sugar frosted Sybil

By this afternoon, there was some snow out there, as Cricket shows

Tail up means speed is in the offing
What a great shot!  Love Sybil's ears

Was going to toss this one until I saw Sybil's butt

 Cue the dramatic, old-dog-lost-going-home-in-a-snowstorm music
There are ears, and then there is this shot.  I couldn't have drawn them that good

Timber Pics!

Michaela sent along these lovely pics of Timber enjoying snowfall. What a handsome pup he is! I adore the last picture! That face and the shot is just perfect!
