Sweep waiting for a command that she will intentionally ignore because it does not fit into her vocabulary when she is off leash in the desert. Otherwise she is incredibly obedient. LOL

  1. Not sure how I managed to get the photo to do whatever it did!

  2. Oh, I do! When you clicked the pix to add your caption, you did what I do occasionally and hit the picture size tab. I don't know how I do it either, it just happens.

But, absolutely STUNNING shot! That selective deafness gene was inherited from dads side of the family.

  3. She runs through the desert like a jack rabbit. Absolutely amazing how she navigates through all the brush at speed. I'll try and get a video one of these days.
Everything was fine until I put her back on the leash and she got poked in the eye by a yucca along the edge of the trail.Took her to the vet. On a couple topical antibiotics for a week. She'll be fine:)
Does the digging gene come from the same side of the family? She'll run at full speed come to a dead spot, dig for 10 seconds, then take off at full speed. Whacked out dog.

  4. Love this shot of Sweep! She looks like she's having the time of her life. Oh, and we wouldn't know anything about selective deafness hear, er here....
